basic math programs

Over the years, I've created a series of online programs that test my kids knowledge of basic math. We've used them fairly often over the years and they have been fairly successful with the kids. Not only do they teach them math, but it also teaches them how to use basic web forms.

I'm making these widely available, so that they may be as useful to you as they have been for me.

  1. Random Addition Facts
20 addition facts are randomly created using the numbers 0 - 12.
Fill in the box beside the problem with the answers and click submit.
It will tell you how many are correct and incorrect, but not which ones.

This was created at the request of my 2nd grader. She saw the Random Multiplication Facts and wanted to do them. The multiplication was a bit too difficult for her (as she hadn't learned multiplication), so I created this addition one. I suspect that this is too easy for 2nd graders as she blazes through them only missing one or two.

  2. Random Subtraction Facts
20 addition facts are randomly created using the numbers 0 - 12.
Fill in the box beside the problem with the answers and click submit.
It will tell you how many are correct and incorrect, but not which ones.

This was also created at the request of my 2nd grader.

  3. Multiplication Facts
13 multipliation problems (from 0 to 12) are created for the numbers 2-12 (one set at a time).
Fill in the box beside the problem with the answers and click submit.
It will tell you how many are correct and incorrect, but not which ones.
This is a timed program and you have 90 seconds to complete the 13 problems before it will allow you to go on to the next set.
This always begins with the set of 2s.
You can skip ahead with the links below:
    SKIP AHEAD | 3s | 4s | 5s | 6s | 7s | 8s | 9s | 10s | 11s | 12s

This was created to drill my 6th grader with the basic multiplication tables.

  4. Random Multiplication Facts
20 multiplication facts are randomly created using the numbers 0 - 12.
Fill in the box beside the problem with the answers and click submit.
It will tell you how many are correct and incorrect, but not which ones.

  5. Random Multiplication Facts 2
20 multiplication facts are randomly created using the numbers 5 - 30.
Fill in the box beside the problem with the answers and click submit.
It will tell you how many are correct and incorrect, but not which ones.

  6. Random Division Facts
20 division facts are randomly created using the numbers 2 - 12.
Fill in the box beside the problem with the answers and click submit.
It will tell you how many are correct and incorrect, but not which ones.
